Since 1998 he has worked in ITTI, where he is responsible for IT projects management addressing topics of telecommunication networks in technical and business aspect. Since 2004 professional associated with the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań as a researcher and lecturer in the field of engineering and programming languages, applications in telecommunications. He also runs courses covering the elements of a non-technical work in computer science. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electronics and Telecommunications Systems in 2012 from the University of Technology and Agriculture in Bydgoszcz. He is an expert in software engineering (Java, C++), database systems, applications and security aspects. In the recent years he has managed projects dealing with information and security systems, critical infrastructure, modelling and simulation for civil emergency planning, teleinformatics and intelligent networks. He has participated in a number of project in 5th, 6th, 7th FP, PASR programmes, Phare and Leonardo da Vinci. Currently he participates in national and international initiatives for European Commission, European Defence Agency, European Space Agency and European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA).
Since 1997 he has been working with ITTI in Poznan, where he manages the consulting and research projects in the field of information and communication technologies. He obtained his M.Sc. from the Franco-Polish School of New Information and Communication Technologies (EFP), Poland, in 1996. In 2004 he has graduated from the MBA program run by Helsinki School of Economics. In his work he focuses on the issues related to new telecommunications networks and services, regulatory aspects of telecommunications, IT service management and the modeling and simulation in crisis management. He participated in numerous international projects, including these under the 5th, 6th and 7th FP, PASR programme, Phare and Leonardo da Vinci programmes. Since many years he has been involved in the initiatives for European Commission, NATO Industrial Advisory Group and projects for European Defense Agency. Recently he participates in activities related to European Space Agency projects. Since 2012 he is a chairman of TA2 working group focusing on communications in Integrated Mission Group for Security. He is the author or coauthor of numerous publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
